hey jenn, i know you just love word count questions but can you just confirm if word count has changed for mg? i remember reading somewhere agents were more open to shorter manuscripts now. are shorter manuscripts (i.e. 26000), still too short these days or would it be fine? i made a huge mistake and used another word count on the qm drop down menu. the actual word count is 8000 less. please tell me the full they requested is not already in their trash folder because of the difference?
